Following on from the enormous success of the Family Wealth Report Summit in October 2014, ClearView Financial Media will be hosting the Family Wealth Report Summit on March 12th 2015, in New York City.

The Family Wealth Report summits are large-scale thought-leadership, education and networking events exclusively for members of the Family Wealth Report Network.

Hosted as morning events, the Family Wealth Report summits are an unrivalled thought-leadership platform. Family Wealth Report events encourage intellectual debate on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry and are designed to be an optimal use of a wealth managers’ precious time. We would normally expect around 150 high-level professionals to attend this event.

Mark Mykityshyn

Executive Chairman

Dr Mykityshyn currently serves as the executive chairman of Tangible Security, a cybersecurity firm in Columbia, MD, that serves both the federal government and commercial markets. A graduate of the US Naval Academy, he served as a Marine Corps officer and naval aviator. Dr Mykityshyn has co-founded and managed three companies, including two investment firms. In his various roles, he has served as managing partner, chief executive, chairman and executive chairman. His civilian participation in military affairs includes serving as the chairman of the board of visitors of the US Army War College, a member of the Naval Research Advisory Committee, and a member of numerous studies for both the Defense Science Board, and the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board.

Jackie brings a broad array of experience including entrepreneur, analyst and strategy consultant. She led business development at iBasis, growing the global VOiP firm through a successful IPO. She cofounded WORK IN PROGRESS, a non-profit social enterprise and was a policy analyst for the US Congress and her strategy skills while as a management consultant for CSC Index.

Jackie was instrumental in the establishment of the pioneering social investing fund, Good Capital and led the development of the emerging field of gender lens investing as a founder of the Women Effect Investments initiative. Jackie serves on the advisory boards of the Opportunity Collaboration and the trustees of the donations.

Joseph Larizza's 20-plus years of experience as a senior technology and operations manager has concentrated predominately in the financial services industry. He served in many management roles across Credit Suisse's global IT organization and held IT top level positions at Deutsche Bank's Asset Management division, Goldman Sachs Private Bank, and the New York Advanced Development Center of Ernst & Young Consulting.

In 2009 he joined Fieldpoint Private, a boutique wealth advisory and private banking firm launched the prior year. Previously, Joe was in private practice as a trusts and estates attorney with the firms of Clifford Chance Rogers & Wells, and Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander & Ferdon, in New York City. Joe’s practice included multi-generational planning, charitable organizations, international estates and trusts, and the use of sophisticated financial products as part of an integrated wealth planning strategy.

Matt Sonnen

Matt is responsible for strategic operations at Focus where he helps wirehouse breakaway teams and recently-formed RIAs to develop strategic initiatives that enable them to benefit from Focus’ scale and streamline operations to improve efficiency, both from a technology and workflow perspective.

During his time at Focus, Matt has spearheaded the development of a comprehensive suite of technology solutions offered to Focus’ partner firms. He also leads the end-to-end process of sourcing and managing vendors, which includes the evaluation of different providers and identification of the appropriate suite of solutions for each partner firm based on their specific business needs.

Prior to joining Focus, Matt served as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer at Luminous Capital. There, he was instrumental in facilitating the Luminous team’s transition out of Merrill Lynch and supported its launch as an independent RIA in 2008.

Michael is the treasurer and a trustee of the Edward W Hazen Foundation, and is the past chair of the board of directors of US SIF, The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment. Scott Becchi is a partner and principal in the advisory services practice of EY. Scott is a New York-based executive with more than 25 years of leadership, people management, strategy, planning, and systems implementation and outsourcing experience. He is focused in wealth and asset management with extensive experience in all phases of the transformation lifecycle, with a focus on large-scale transformations and systems integration/outsourcing project oversight, management and delivery. His roles on these engagements include program oversight, change management, architecture and communications. His specific skills include developing and implementing IT strategies, especially as they relate to achieving competitive advantage in business and managing cost. Scott is currently leading EY’s wealth and asset management technology practice.

Stephen Lee

Stephen Lee is a regional vice president in the private wealth division for Columbia Management Distributors. Stephen joined the firm in 2006 and has been a member of the investment community since 1995, and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.

Prior to joining Columbia Management, Stephen spent several years as a consultant to the hedge fund industry, specializing in marketing and distribution. He has worked in alternative investments at Citigroup Alternatives Investments and KPG Investments, and in private banking at JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Swiss Bank Corporation in New York.

Stephen has taught at City College of the City University of New York and Lafayette College.

Zachary Karabell

As head of global strategy, Zachary shapes and communicates Envestnet’s investment perspective and research capabilities to clients and the media, and advises the investment committee of Envestnet | PMC in connection with PMC’s portfolio solutions. Zachary is president of River Twice Research, a consulting company, and River Twice Capital Advisors, a money management firm. Previously, he was executive vice president, chief economist and head of marketing at Fred Alger Management, a New York-based investment firm. He was also president of Fred Alger & Company, a broker-dealer; portfolio manager of the five-star China-US Growth Fund (CHUSX); and executive vice president of Alger’s Spectra Funds. Here he oversaw the creation, launch and marketing of several funds, led corporate strategy for strategic acquisitions, and represented the firm at public forums and in the media. Zachary has taught at several leading universities and has written widely on economics, investing, history and international relations.
