Overview

The overarching theme of the mornings session will be around “Intergenerational Wealth Management”.

According to our research, at least $16 trillion of UHNW individual’s wealth will be passed on to the next generation as the world’s richest families approach retirement (over the next three decades).

Planning is critical. Without adequate planning, the ultra-wealthy could lose up to half of their fortunes through inheritance taxes. Estate taxes in some developed countries including Japan and Germany are as high as 50 percent of the wealthiest people’s net worth.

The Breakfast Briefing will address these themes and showcase the role of efficiently structuring the families’ wealth in anticipation of these events.

Key Topics to be covered include:

  • Structuring of Assets.
  • Family Governance constitutions.
  • Diversifying outside the region.
  • Preparing the next Generation of their responsibilities.
  • Effective persuasion of family members for the need of such structures.
  • Non-family member execs.
