Overview
Understanding the role of International Financial Centers (IFCs) and their place within the global economy has become increasingly important for those wealth planners wishing to expand their investments and financial service responsibilities.
In response to this pressing need for up-to-date and reliable knowledge about this sector, the theme of this IFC World Breakfast Briefing will be the main products and services available from these financial centres, and what differentiates them from other jurisdictions. This 50-minute panel session will also shine a light on the latest policy and regulatory developments. We are delighted to have secured senior experts from The Bahamas to lead the discussion and share their experience.
Attendees will leave the Breakfast Briefing understanding why IFCs can be a compelling choice for service providers and intermediaries to do business. What are the key growth drivers and product innovations? In finding answers to these pertinent questions, The Bahamas, which has an evolving fund industry, will present a useful and informative case study for investors and their advisors. The relative benefits of making the most of IFCs for wealthy individuals and families looking to establish family offices will be discussed.
